Gorgeous gal with the whole package - good confirmation and great fiber! Allegra has nice density and fineness that should carry into old age. With the genetics of King Accoyo Solomon and Belmonte you can't go wrong! Allegra will eat grain out of your hand. She is a very big girl and a bit of a grain hog when feeding time comes. She isn't what I would call "easy" to handle, but not hard to handle either. She can be hard to catch, but will stand still once you catch her and she halters well, so she's "easy" to work with once caught, you just need to either be experienced in "catching" alpacas or have a catch pen to make life easier. Allegra gave birth to a beautiful fawn male out of Gunner on 5-31-21! We have named him Houdini. Allegra is a good mom, and is also letting Bun Bun sneak drinks. An alpaca dam who lets other cria nurse on her is worth more than gold! Allegra gave birth to a gorgeous appaloosa male out of Gunner on 8-9-22! His name is Fluffy Ryder. Since we plan on keeping Fluffy Ryder for a stud, and plan on using him quite often, we have decided to sell Allegra. She is currently open, healthy, and ready to be bred come spring/summer!
